Some recent work in brass: this stepped edge brass plaque was finished and dispatched to my customer not long ago. At their request, the plaque was given a dark antique patina on the surface with the engraving left uncoloured. The plaque was made from solid 3mm thick brass which was machined around the edges to create the stepped edge border, giving it a nice "chunky", but elegant, look and feel.
