I’m excited to share a recent project: two polished brass plaques with intricate border design, created for Club Bohemia, the new destination at Manhattan's Pier 17 that opened just last week during New York Fashion Week.

Club Bohemia is the latest concept from Grupo Gitano, designed as a glamorous throwback to the golden age of New York nightlife. The venue blends the energy of the ’70s and ’80s with a contemporary twist - think mirrored interiors, bold metallics, dramatic lighting, baroque-inspired details and art-filled walls.

It’s more than a nightclub: it’s a champagne lounge and dance floor rolled into one, created to bring people together in an inclusive, stylish, and celebratory space. Since opening during New York Fashion Week, it has already drawn a crowd of artists, creatives, and tastemakers, making it a new cultural hotspot in the city.

The plaques were made in polished brass with an ornate border design to complement the venue’s shimmering, baroque-inspired interior. Because of the complexity of the design, it took a lot of time and patience to make each one, but the results were worth it. I’m proud that these pieces now contribute to the atmosphere of such an ambitious and beautifully designed space. If you find yourself in Lower Manhattan, keep an eye out for Club Bohemia!
