These wall triangles are made with real bronze (~80%) which is oxidised (rusted) and then polished by hand, resulting in an antique bronze patina. The triangles are 3D printed and then finished by hand to a very high standard.

These 4 triangles represent the 4 alchemic elements of Fire, Earth, Water and Air. The Ancient Greeks were the first to propose that the universe is composed of these 4 physical elements, as well as a fifth one, the spirit (otherwise known as aether, or quintessence).
The 4 triangular symbols to denote these elements were devised by alchemists when they created the alchemic symbolic language so as to record their attempts to purify, mature and perfect certain materials, such as the transmutation of base metals into gold.
