Thank you so much to my wonderful customer for emailing this great photo of the solid brass house sign I made, in its new home! It's great to see it in situ, and I love the combination with the blue door and other brass hardware. What do you think?!
The house plaque is made from solid brass with a natural polished finish. This allows the brass to age over time and develop a patina, which is part of the charm of using real brass. It can be buffed / polished up at any point to remove / reduce the patina, or sealed with a lacquer or clear wax coating to protect against the elements.
