I recently had the pleasure of making a bespoke antiqued brass plaque for Highley Manor, a beautiful historic country house and wedding venue nestled in the West Sussex countryside, near Haywards Heath.
Highley Manor has a fascinating history dating back centuries. Once home to the Shelley family, including the renowned Romantic poet Percy Bysshe Shelley, the manor has seen many changes over the years. The present building dates from the late 19th century and retains much of its historic character, with elegant interiors, beautiful gardens and sweeping views across the surrounding countryside.

Today, Highley Manor is an exclusive-use wedding venue, offering a wonderful setting for couples celebrating their special day.
It's always a pleasure to create something for a building with such a rich history. The custom sign was made from solid brass and given an antiqued patina finish, creating a traditional, aged appearance that complements the character and heritage of the manor.

It is wonderful to see the finished plaque in its new home, many thanks to my customer for sharing photographs of the installed plaque.
